Advertise with An Occasional Chocolate™

An Occasional Chocolate.com is a very active site and on average receives about 18,000 unique visitors to its website every month. We distribute a weekly newsletter as well, with a readership of 1,700. It's a great place to advertise your business!

We just have one advertising requirement - all businesses requesting advertising on our website must be related in nature, such as websites that focus on desserts, recipes, candy, chocolate, coffee, cooking and similar categories.

We have several options for advertising:

1. Free Basic Link Listing

There is no charge for a basic listing on our links page. When you request that a link be added, we will review the site. If we consider the site to be a valuable addition to An Occasional Chocolate™ and you have given us a reciprocal link, we will then add a link to it. 

2.  Newsletter Text Link

Our monthly newsletter has room for two text advertisements per issue (no graphics, please). The current subscriber base is approximately 1,700, all of which have actively sought out An Occasional Chocolate™ and requested to subscribe. These are readers that want our newsletter! We use no subterfuge or spamming techniques to build our reader base. Thirty dollars per issue gains you this elite audience.

3.  Front Page Placement

Placing an ad on our main front page ensures you the best possible exposure to our visitors. We require ads in .gif format and non-animated. All graphics must be pre-approved.

Banner Ad 460w x 68h = $65 per month, paid quarterly.
Square Ad 125w x 125h = $50 per month, paid quarterly
Rectangle Ad 120w x 90h = $50 per month, paid quarterly
Rectangle Ad 120w x 60h = $50 per month, paid quarterly

4. Multi Page Placement

Do you think specific pages will work well with your website? Choose five pages (minus the front page) on our website! This ensures you the best possible exposure to our visitors. We require ads in .gif format and non-animated. All graphics must be pre-approved.

Payment Methods

We take Master Card, Visa and Amex. and Paypal (to owner@anoccasionalchocolate.com). Checks payable in United States funds are also accepted.

If you have any questions, special needs, wild ideas or brainstorms you would like us to consider, please contact us any time. We consider ourselves approachable, adaptable and eager to work with you. Ideas for sponsoring contests and promotions are also welcome!  Bartering is an option as well.

All ad prices are subject to change without notice. Rates will increase during the last quarter of the year, September through December. Real-time statistics may be requested at any time for any given page on our website. If at any time your website has anything deemed inappropriate by An Occasional Chocolate, your ad will be removed immediately.
