Chocolate Almond Bark Candy Recipe

I have fond memories in the summer of my childhood of going to the old fashion candy store and peeking in the windows at the chocolate candy almond bark and drooling. All the other chocolate candies looked so good but the almond bark was calling my name! I rarely had enough of my own money to purchase the bark myself but on occasion my mother would let the whole family splurge on a piece of that melt-in-your-mouth chocolate candy almond bark.

This recipe is so easy, you will wonder why you ever bought some at thee candy store!

Melt 12 ounces of Guittard white chocolate or milk chocolate in 30-second intervals stirring in between. Add 1 cup of almonds. Spread onto a large piece of wax paper and let harden. Break apart and enjoy! Add some marshmallows and you have rocky road!
