American Flag Chocolate MoldAmerican Flag Chocolate Mold

Qty. $2.99

Each piece is approximately 3½" x 2½" x ¼"
This mold makes approximately 15 pieces per pound of chocolate.

To make this American Flag use candy colors and white Guittard molding chocolate to paint the American flag for the 4th of July, Memorial Day or Labor Day. Or use Guittard milk chocolate and red, white and blue star confetti to make this flag grand! Hold S approximately 2 ounces of chocolate.

White Chocolate Multicolored American Flag Sucker!

Memorial Day and the 4th of July are coming! Show your American spirit by bringing these chocolate flags to a class party, birthday party or potluck! Give this gift to your favorite military man or someone who just loves America! (Can you hear the gazoo playing "America the Beautiful?")

Needed:

American Flag Chocolate Mold
2 bags of Guittard white chocolate
1 bag of sucker sticks (long or short)
Red and blue candy color (Be sure to use only candy coloring because it is oil based. The products you find in the grocery store have water in them and will ruin your chocolate!)
Painting bottles or candy paint brush
Squeeze bottles

In 2 separate bowls melt about 1/2 cup of white chocolate each using
30 second intervals being careful not to scorch the chocolate. White
chocolate melts faster, so be extra careful.

For this project, we will add 8-10 drops of candy coloring! We won't
be adding much color to these flags, but the color we do add we want to be
nice and bright. If you use too much of the red and blue
colored chocolate, it WILL affect the taste of your sucker and may
stain the lips.

Add the coloring to the chocolate and stir. Pour the 2 separate
colors into the painting bottles and place on a warmer or a pan with
a towel on it with the setting placed on low heat.

Melt the rest of the chocolate in 30 second intervals, then pour into the
8 oz squeeze bottles and keep on the warmer.

Use the painting bottles of red and blue colored chocolate to make
designs in the American flag mold - see picture. Set aside to harden for
about 5 minutes.

Using the 8oz squeeze bottle full of white chocolate, fill the flag
mold up to the brim of the flag cavity. Roll a sucker stick into the
chocolate and tap the mold to make sure there are no spots that are
void of chocolate.

Place in freezer for 15 minutes. Wrap with cellophane and red, white
and blue ribbon to celebrate your American spirit!
