Chocolate Candy Molds - Good Old Fashion Fun with Easy Recipes

By Cheryl Sandberg

Do you remember making chocolate molded candies as a kid? Remember those fun rabbits with those old clip together candy molds? Or at Easter time making Easter eggs from the candy molds? I remember eating the chocolate bugles my grandma used to make. They tasted so much better than a plain candy bar. So much more fun, too! My friends were always so jealous and thought I had the coolest grandma on the block.

Tradition is kept alive through you and your children. There are now tons of chocolate molds from which to choose. The recipes are so easy. Chocolate mold makers have become so creative. Now the molds come in all shapes and sizes, and for any occasion! I used this wedding bell mold for my sister-in-law's wedding shower. They ladies all loved them!

My favorite mold is the molded truffle. I don't know why, but seeing a perfectly-shaped truffle in that chocolate store window is a treat unlike any other.

Kids can do it, too! Chocolate molds are designed to be easy and fun!

I love antique chocolate candy molds. If you do, too, here is a great book on the subject. A walk through memory lane!
