Who doesn't like a traditional chocolate covered cherry? Cherries are from Heaven! Cover the cherry with chocolate and it must be directly from God himself! Imagine sitting on the porch with friends and enjoying a gourmet chocolate covered cherry that you made yourself. The cherry is almost too good to be true, all covered in chocolate. To think, you made it with a mold! Plain Chocolate Covered Cherry: Melt chocolate and pour some into the chocolate covered cherries mold, then pour it back out again leaving a "shell" to put your cherry. Put in your pitted cherry, then backfill the bottom of the mold with chocolate and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.Fancy Chocolate Covered Cherry: Melt chocolate and pour some into the chocolate covered cherries mold, then pour it back out again leaving a "shell" to put your cherry. Drain a large jar maraschino cherries. Put them between paper towels to dry them well. Mix together: 1 can Eagle Brand milk, 1 stick soft butter, 1 tsp. vanilla. Put your pitted cherries in the mixture and store in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Put one cherry and some mixture in each chocolate "shell" and back fill with chocolate.
