Chocolate Food Coloring

CANDY COLOR 2 OZ LIQUID - Oil Based for Candy - No added water

These specially-formulated oil-based colors will not cause thickening of confectionery coating or chocolate like ordinary liquid colors. Ingredients: lecithin, propylenen glycol and FD&C colors.

For use in painted candy such as the painted cross for a much more three-dimensional artistic look. If you want a special colored chocolate, you can add this candy coloring because it is oil-based. (Water-based coloring ruins your candy.) Warning: Too much coloring will give the candy a bitter taste and will stain the mouth and lips. Rather than get the very dark colors such as navy blue, we recommend using a more 'pastel' feel.
