For centuries we have loved drinking hot chocolate. From the time of the Aztec's we have enjoyed this rich decadent drink. This is not the hot cocoa our kids are drinking!
Drinking chocolate is distinct from other powders in that it contains real chocolate. Premium E. Guittard chocolate, made from the best cacao beans, is finely ground and added into fine-quality, old-fashioned, Dutch process cocoa powder to become a fine drinking chocolate. Guittard has achieved an intense chocolate flavor with a full-bodied, creamy texture; rich, red-brown, dark chocolate color. Drinking chocolate is comforting, home made, pudding-like and reminds us of baked chocolate aromas.
Grand Cacao was recently selected by The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade as a Finalist for 2007 Outstanding Hot Beverage.
