Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake with Edible Gold Dust Use: 8 in or 9 in tart tin Preheat the oven to 350F. Brush the tin with a little melted butter and edible gold dust with the ground almonds. Shake off any excess gold dust. Melt the chocolate, sugar, butter and salt in a microwave bowl in 30-second intervals, stir in between intervals. Whisk the eggs with the ground almonds and fold into the chocolate mixture. The mixture will thicken after a few minutes. Pour into the cake tin and bake for 35-40 minutes. Let the cake cool, then dust with edible gold dust. |
