Golf Ball Chocolate Truffle Mold

Golf Ball Chocolate Truffle Mold
Each piece is 1 5/8 " Diameter x 1/2 " Depth
This mold makes approximately 26 pieces per pound of chocolate.

This golf ball chocolate truffle mold is a fun addition to your mold collection! It's perfect for Spring and Summer, for Father's Day, or for your favorite Golf Pro! Who doesn't love to play golf even if it is just miniature golf? Those little golf balls remind me of being a kid and trying to make a hole-in-one! This golf ball truffle mold is a sure-fire pleaser.
Use the truffle ganache recipe to make golf ball truffles and place them in a triple truffle box.
To use
this great golf ball truffle mold, fill the entire
mold cavity with the chocolate of your choice, white, milk or dark molding
chocolate. Let the chocolate
sit inside the golf ball truffle mold at room temperature (not in the refrigerator or
freezer) for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes is up, dump the chocolate
out of the mold and remove the excess chocolate, leaving a
shell of chocolate. Place this shell of chocolate into the freezer
for 15 minutes. Fill the mold cavity with truffle
ganache. Backfill the bottom of the truffle with extra chocolate
to cover the bottom of the ganache, and place the entire truffle creation back in the freezer for
another 15 minutes. Remove the molded truffle from the freezer. Package your nice gift in a triple truffle box with window. Or package several in an extra large plastic box.
To make a whole golf ball:
Cut the mold to make two half golf balls. Fill one half of the mold with chocolate. Close the mold, matching the sides. Clamp together as tightly as possible. Gently roll the mold around so that the chocolate can fill the other half of the mold, making sure to cover all areas. Tap to insure all the bubbles are out of any small spaces. Place in freezer for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the golf ball from the mold and smooth edges with your fingers. Enjoy!
"These golf balls make a great gift. I have a golfer in the family and for her birthday I made half golf balls with white chocolate shells filled with dark chocolate truffle fillings (soft) with a variety of flavors- raspberry with raspberry puree , amaretto, hazelnut, orange with orange zest and Triple Sec, and Cabernet (wine cooked down to a thick syrup) with pepper and cinnamon. The inspiration - found your golf ball molds! Made a box with a label "One shot golf balls". She loved them! Thanks!" - Jeanne G
