Use this Christmas Santa Mold with Guittard chocolate.
1. Carefully paint Santa's beard and suit with white chocolate using the candy painting bottle. Carefully paint his nose with white chocolate that has been turned red with red candy coloring. Let dry.
2. Cut the mold in half along the dotted line. Fill one half of the mold with chocolate, covering the painting you just did.
3. Close the mold, matching the two raised dots. Clamp together as tightly as possible. Let chocolate cool for 1 minute. Gently roll the mold around so that the chocolate can fill the other half of the mold, making sure to cover all areas. Tap to insure all the bubbles are out of any small spaces. Place in freezer for 15 minutes.
4. Carefully remove Santa from the mold and smooth edges with your fingers. Enjoy! For other ideas for Christmas:
Molds will not tolerate temperatures above 165 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature should never be exceeded when using clear plastic molds. Our chocolate molds may be used for butter, plaster, cement, Jell-O, fondant, gum paste, etc. |
