Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Recipe
Fill mini dessert cup mold half way with melted milk chocolate or melted dark chocolate. (Be sure and use the molding chocolate instead of regular chocolate chips unless you want to temper your chocolate chips.)
Roll the mold around to coat the entire
inside of the mold. Empty out the remaining chocolate (leaving a shell of chocolate) and place in freezer for 15
minutes.
Take out the shell of chocolate and fill nearly to the top with peanut butter! We like the freshly ground peanut butter.
Place some melted chocolate into the 8 ounce squeeze bottle. Back fill the mold with melted chocolate, making sure to cover the peanut butter completely. Tap the mold to ensure it is completely filled. Place in freezer for 15 minutes.
Place your "Reese's" chocolate peanut butter cups in paper candy cups then place in a triple truffle box, a clear oval box or a large plastic box and decorate!
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have to be our personal over-the-counter candy. I loved them as a kid and still sneak them as an adult! (I secretly worry one of my customers will see me buying one. Can one get any privacy??) A customer told me of this simple recipe so I made some. They are so much better than the ones from the store, I will never go back!
