Shipping, Handling and Packaging
We usually ship the next business day after you place your order! During warm months we only ship Monday - Thursday.
Shipping calculations are based the weight of the items purchased.
| UPS GROUND SERVICE - Usual delivery is within 1-5 business days from the date of shipment. |
| Priority Mail - Usual delivery is within 2-7 business days from the date of shipment. |
| Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes - Flat rate boxes by Priority Mail USPS - We have the shopping cart set up so that if you buy twelve items or less (minus some of our products which don't qualify no matter how heavy the package is it will be a flat fee for shipping. Usual delivery is within 2-7 business days from the date of shipment. |
| UPS 3rd Day Select - Usual delivery is within 3 business days from the date of shipment. |
| UPS 2 Day - Usual delivery is within 2 business days from the date of shipment. |
| UPS Next Day Air - Usual delivery is within 1 business days from the date of shipment depending on the area that you live. |
UPS shipping comes with a tracking number, and insurance automatically.
Delivery Time
Once the order is placed, we ship items out next day Monday - Friday, it can sometimes take up to 2 business days to process the order depending on the items ordered. If for some reason your items are backordered, you will be contacted via email or telephone.
Please remember, this based on working business days M-F in addition to production time!
AnOccasionalChocolate.com reserves the right to substitute product or back order an item(s) to be shipped at a later date should they not be available at the time of order. We will email you and ask what you prefer should a backorder happen.
Outside the United States
For deliveries outside of the US we use the United States Post Office Priority Mail option. Backordered items will be deleted off your order and you will receive a credit on your credit card for that item. Because of the volatile nature of shipping outside of the U.S., items are not insured and once it leaves our office we cannot be responsible for what happens to the package. Stolen, misdirected or items returned with wrong address will not be reshipped. Returns are accepted but you will not be credited any of the shipping either to or from your destination. We currently ship to:
United States and Canada ONLY - Due to the volatile nature of shipping overseas, we have currently ended the shipping for other countries except for Canada. We are very sorry for any unconvince this may cause.
